Yesterday was eventful.

Had coffee with the faeries in Bellingham. Rick threw oranges at everyone. Kevin told me how he and Tony have been together off and on since Night Ranger was popular, or thereabouts. Hagrid showed finally and made us a foursome--pleased to be enrolling for next quarter at WWU soon.

Then we agreed to go visit a friend in the hospital and went off for a smoke and walked to a magazine shop first...

Smoked in the rain some and drove the artcar up to St Francis and waited in the parking lot for a half hour while 12 Bellingham cops who saw way to much of the television show SWAT arrived and marched inside with their assault rifles drawn. Shades of WTO sans teargas; some woman's son was acting out or getting violent or some such. So the cops cuffed him fast. In general, superior firepower rules (except in the Middle East).

Ted is this great elder fey guy we're getting to know from Point Roberts. Fun to chat with, and hopefully cheer him up a bit too.

Then I droped off Hagrid, and returned to Sumas, and shortly was visited by Gary and Nancy from William's Lake, BC. Wonderful family of artcar poeple up there; Gary drives a formerly white late-model van covered in excellent spray paint tags.

Then I visited w/Laurel and her kid across the street. Tea and relighting their furnace and dragging Stewie around the house by his ankles. Fun being around a 6 year old for a change.

Then home. More social than the entire week previous.
