Still no new photos which is a drag. My old fashioned film camera broke a month ago, down at Ashland. Mark has a high rez digital camera, but first I'll have to learn how to use it (and find where he hides it).

Got all the propane hooked up, including the little propane light (Paulin) which works great and is very bright. Still no water system at all...not sure how much time I'll have left before my trip to Mt Rainier on Aug 24th.

Also not sure how much painting I'll get to on the exterior between now and then. Maybe I'll do some decorating on the road! I did paint the interior roof on a whim last weekend. Plus gathering fabric & whatever to try to spruce up the inside for a week's worth of very gay camping. Its all about the decorating, don'tcha know.

What else...been busy scratching together some curtains for privacy. Lined them with black to block the light and also so that from the outside the windows appear black/dark. One thing I hate on most schoolies is all the miscellaneous white window coverings that usually look kinda trashy. Yes I am that anal.

Also a friend in Seattle has offered up a futon mattress that sounds ready-made for my bed frame. Sweet timing; hope it works out.

Got my palm fronds for the roof rack, something to lay on that won't burn your but. Still need to think about some foam or something for up there...also need to take up the extra 2 batteries and solar panels currently sitting in the Sumas workshop.

This weekend is Nanaimo with the artcar. Fussing over my Matthew Shepard Playset and various tee shirts, mainly the one that says Closet Case on it. Probably not a big audience for my very gay wares in fabulous Nanaimo, British Columbia. Leave it to me to begin my self-promotional sales in earnest, in the most red-neck town I know of. The Whoretense Acid Promotion (WHAP). Hardy Harr.
