Still on the Edge in Sumas

Photos at last! The bus isn't changing much, but lots of background stuff still going on. Priorities for now include finding a decent ladder for the back and getting the wood stove bolted down & stove pipe in. Then maybe we'll think about batteries, a battery isolator, maybe an inverter. Propane...

And while I'm at it, here's an abandoned conversion bus parked not a mile from here, with a porch(!). I doubt this old timer will ever move again. Completely trashed, but must've been a beauty in her day. Anybody out there familiar with these?:







All for now, except Mark wants me to not take him for granted so much and mention that he brings me strawberry-banana juice in bed. And he puts up with my smoking. No complaints here.
