small-town gay life and death : marketing infertility drugs : signals from the Pleiades : why helvetica is my friend : how not to breed

Gawd, its been two weeks since the last post. Happy to say progress is at hand, though I've nothing in the way of photos to prove it.

We got the woodstove out of the back of my pick-up and into the bus, thanks to some skillful help from friend Pat. A chain hung from a steel boom mounted on his tractor served to carry the stove quite easily. Now its a matter of bolting down and hooking up.

Plus Pat welded me a little ring thing to allow us to lock the front doors. Its a very robust little fitting, formed to align with the factory holes in the bottom of the doors. And it doesn't marr the exterior at all. Very ingenious, and quite tamper proof once I have a suitable padlock.

Meanwhile we're progressing on the driveway up at the cabin in B.C. Once we get enough fill dumped we'll have a parking spot alongside the road, and as a bonus some added privacy in the back yard. Photos soon.

All else is taxes right now. Going crazy on that...
