This blog was put together as a place to hope and dream about a very large piece of portable housing, known currently only as Number 3. She's nothing exceptional to look at, but that'll change. See pic below.

Mark, my not insignificant other, suggested a blog. What better excuse. I've got a lot to ponder--how to go about the conversion, what the final result is going to be like, where the hell she's going to go. Yes it's a her. There's a lot of buses and recreational vehicles out there, from factory finished to retrofitted from the ground up, but few to none of them offer much of interest to me. I'm after more somehow. I'm after sanctuary and hospitality and certainly a bit of proof that the best isn't always the most expensive. Not that I needed another project, but this was to good to miss. Paid $575 at an auction. Whatja think?
