Last weekend was the combine demolition derby in Lind, WA. Went over with Kelly and Diane, and Steve & Crow and Marlow and her family. Strange ritual farm equipment demolition complete with an audiance of friendly locals and white trash. Some excellent museum stops, including a hobo train recylcer in Moses Lake, a celebrity car museum (Elvis!) in Spokane, and the Robot Hut north of Spokane. So much wierdness packed into one weekend.

The roof rack is poised to go on the bus soon, today I got another coat of paint on the roof which should finish that part. Trouble is the bus won't start; seems like the batteries are low, but not sure. I don't think I'll need a tow, just somebody better at diagnosing than me. Call AAA?

The week before I was in Seattle for work, June 8-9.

This weekend is the Solstice parade in Seattle, complete with artcar procession on Friday and Sunday. Guess I should go nap while I can.
