Autoduellists love to show off their creations. Included here is a gallery of photos sent in by avid duellists, showing their beautifully hand-crafted models, and painstakingly built arenas. Vehicles from two different scales are currently on display.

As you would guess, you can click on the little picture to see the full shot.

3X Scale
Split Level Arena Split Level Arena (55K): Check out this beautiful split level arena! I don't know how this event ended, but I would have put my money on the duellist in the tank.

Hand to Hand Out for some Hand to Hand Combat (28K): A great action shot from the split level arena. Here's the play-by-play: "Shannon's car (yellow) is immobilized, so she's out and running (the little figure). Jimmy (red) was pinned sideways on the bridge, so he threw it in reverse and is falling backwards there. Shannon's driver ended up jumping through the air and landing on his hood." Check out the great spike counters and billboards in this shot too.

Eight Cars Eight Cars on Display (18K): Owned by the photographer, and others in NC. If you look closely, you can make out some of the turrets and gun additions to the models. You can almost make out the way-cool flaming jolly roger that I painted on the hood of the black Corvette.

This photo and the next one were taken by the creator of the 3XCW site, and his camera doesn't focus too well at close range, so you might just want to save the download time and skip right to the next section.

White Car, and Tools of the Trade White Car, and Tools of the Trade (29K): Here's a neat racing model with a VMG in a turret. Framing the shot are the necessary tools of the Car Wars trade: a 3X-scale turn key and ruler, and a pair of dice.

16X Scale
Chaos Chaos (57K): A crowd of duellists and onlookers taking in a Car Wars event at a typical 16X-scale arena: a small hillside. This, and the other three shots donated by duellist Tom are from a Division 20 duel held at Game Faire, April 1998 in Spokane, WA.

Mid Game Mid Game (74K): A closer shot of the same hillside event. This one shows some vehicles a bit better, including a great pickup with a gonzo rider standing up in the bed!

Barbie Bites It! Barbie Bites It! (68K): A fallen fashion model lies hanging out of her buggy, while an amazingly well armed silver auto slips by.
Donated by: Tom Lentz
Jack Is Back Jack Is Back (62K): An ethanol-burning, mean speed machine. The driver looks a heck of a lot less mean than the average duellist, though.
