Butterflies!
Mariah Travis
Seaview PTA 7.2.105

A butterflies journey starts as a small egg, until it opens to become a
creepy furry caterpillar.
Suddenly! It wraps itself into a hard shell called a cocoon. Then a few
months go by and ...WOW! It opens to become a beautiful butterfly!
It spreads it's wings and flies away to discover a new journey.
There are many different types of butterflies in many different colors.
Some even make cool camouflage.
I wonder how it feels to fly. It must feel blissful like being free to find
your own path. Butterflies are so radiant...their color, their flight, their
life cycle.
Butterflies are everywhere like in the parks and places like tropical
Islands. Butterflies are magnificent inside and out! A butterfly looks
heavenly as it soars through the breathtaking wind and blue sky.
The most amazing thing about butterflies are their elegant wings! Some
are dark and some are brightly colored like a soft pretty woven
blanket.
Yellow butterflies look like shooting stars though the midnight sky.
Blue butterflies remind me of the slow, rolling, crashing waves of
Hawaii.
Their delicate wings are very fragile and they must not be touched
only admired as they flutter along.
And when we do...we can see their shining, glowing wings. And that is
always nice to see that amazing sight!
WOW!

I think butterflies are pretty and make the world magnificent. They have such an amazing life cycle and it is really cool to see that and how they go through different stages.
