WOW!
Calyse Tapert
Eagle Rock Multi-Age PTA 2.16.12

Leaves of all different shapes and colors that make circular ripples when they hit the water,

One-of-a-kind rocks that shine in the sun when I get them wet,

Little waterfalls that sprinkle onto round smooth rocks,

Big waterfalls that crash to the ground and spray cool mist on my face,

Spiders that spin webs that are like beautiful works of art,

Wild lizards that quickly leap from place to place,

Beavers that cut down the beautiful trees to make their log houses,

Trees that touch the sky while they make oxygen we can breathe,

Fuzzy green moss that conquers trees by covering their bark like a blanket,

Colorful flowers that make seeds that spread and grow into new flowers for next year,

Petrified wood from thousands of years ago that turns into a rock I can discover,

Exploding fireworks that make beautiful patterns and light up the sky,

Shining stars that are over everyone when it is time for their night,

The moon as it reflects the light of the sun and looks different every night,

Red-faced newborn babies that wiggle their tiny toes and hands,

People that are very old and have so many experiences and stories to tell,

Wonderful food and family that come over to eat and play together on Thanksgiving,

Presents under the sparkling Christmas tree on Christmas morning,

The taste of home-baked pies, cookies and cakes to share with friends and family,

People all over the world that are completely different from each other,

One is not like another,

Our skin colors, games, foods, dances, and faces are different, but our feelings and friendships are the same.

All of these special things make me say Wow!

It's a list of lots of cool things that makes me say WOW.
