WOW!
Griffin McDonald
South Pines PTSA 15.2.45

Wow! My Mom lost 100 pounds in a year! Here are things she did to lose 100 pounds: exercise and eating healthy. I am so proud of my Mom. She is a better person and an inspiration to many people.

One of the first things she did, was exercise more. She taught aerobics when she was bigger. Not only did she continue to teach aerobics, she started walking. In fact, she walked the 3-Day 60 mile Breast Cancer walk. Then she started running and taking bicycling classes, and she even ran the Portland Marathon. It's pretty awesome she walked 60 miles for cancer and ran a marathon. WOW!

The other thing she did was eat healthy. It is so hard not to eat sugar and candy, but she hardly had any. What she started eating was fruit, vegetables, turkey, chicken, dairy, and lots and lots of water. She keeps track of what she eats everyday in a food journal.

My Mom is an inspiration to a lot of people, especially me. She tells my brothers and I all the time "anything is possible". That's true, because my Mom lost 100 pounds by exercising more and eating right. I thought it was impossible, but she did it. WOW!

She inspires people by doing things that seem impossible.
