Wow to me
Emma Ledbetter
Kennydale PTA 9.11.50

To me "Wow" is well done or good job. It's like this: Let's say you took a hard quiz and you got an A+. You would think to yourself Wow! I did a really good job, I did really well, I'm proud of myself. Later at recess your best friend tells you "I got an A+!" You might think "Wow!" You're just like me. You'd congradulate your friend with "wow, well done!" Then later your friend might think, Wow. That was a really nice thing to say!

After school you start your homework. Soon your father comes over to check answers. When he gets there he looks at your paper. "WOW! You did really well!" I'm proud of you.

Soon your mother calls you for supper. When you look at your place setting you see one of your favorite dishes. You think Wow! My mom is really nice to me. Then you might say "Gee whiz mom, thanks a bunch.

Later when you go to bed you say to yourself "Wow!" "I've had a really good day."

The next day during recess you shoot 30 hoops in basketball. You've never done that before. Your friend comes up to you and says "Wow! You just broke your own record!"

When you get back to class your teacher announces "it's time to read" You start to read a real good book. You think to yourself Wow! The author did a really good job writing this book.

Suddenly the principal comes on the intercom. "Hello students and teachers. We have a special guest. Teachers please bring your students to the gym." After the performance everyone claps and you think to yourself that was a really good performance. Wow!

Wow can be used in many ways. "Wow" is a really "Wow" word.

The End
