This Gallery was produced using software written in Python
2.6.1, developed in GNU Emacs 22.2.1. Image, audio, video, and text
processing was done on a Apple Macintosh G5 1.6 GHz running OS 10.5.
Photography and Visual Arts images were digitized using a Nikon D80
digital camera. Music and
Literature images were scanned on an Epson Perfection 2400 Photo scanner.
Film and Choreography video was acquired from digital files into iMovie
HD, where still frames were selected for use. DVD video was transfered using
YADE, and translated from MPEG2 to DV using MPEG Streamclip. Selected
videos were exported in Quicktime format.
Images were cropped and color corrected using Adobe Photoshop. The Python Image
Library (PIL) was used to size images for the Gallery and to create thumbnails.
Music was digitized from cassette using a Denon DRM-400 cassette deck
and the G5 built-in audio, or transferred directly from CD. The audio
was trimmed, noise filtered, and volume adjusted using Sound Studio
3.0.1, and saved in mp3 format.
