the Scholastic Class Action on December 14, State Scholastic
Action Championships on January 11, and Northwest Grade Championship

Musto. Due to the likelihood that the Northwest Grade Championship
will fill quickly, please register for this tournament by November
26. Register on your own if you are interested for Crossroads
Tournament on November 17 or Thanksgiving Scholastic
on November 30. Join the fun every Tuesday 3:30-5:00p.m.

MS/JHS Mini-Teams Tournament
Results
Against stiff challengers among
thirty teams that included the 2002 K-5 national champion, three
Lakeside Middle School teams competed at the second annual MS/JHS
Mini-Teams Tournament on November 2. Team 3 won the 6th place
trophy with 5 points. Team 2 took 9th place with 9 points and
Team 1 took 11th place with 8.5 points. One Member received
an individual medal for winning 4.5 of possible 5 points. Fourteen
of the 90 students participating were playing in their first
Washington State Scholastic tournament. Come join the fun in
Room 206 on Tuesdays from 3:30 -5:00 p.m.
