PATENT BAR EXAMINATION Study Materials. All subjects in the answer keys for questions 1991 - April 1999 collated by frequency of occurrence.

An analysis and report of the content of the answer keys for patent bar exam questions 1991-April 1999. Presented in total, by frequency of occurrence.

QUICK FETCH OF THE IMPORTANT FILES (OLD EXAMPLES)
QUESTIONS 1991 - April 1999.

CURRENT FILES FOR 1991-OCTOBER 2001 ARE NOW SHIPPING

A tabulation of how often each subject was cited in the answer keys from the 1991 - April 1999 Patent Bar Exams. Collated by paragraph number and sub-paragraph letter.

A tabulation of how often each subject was cited in the answer keys, but collated by paragraph number only. No subparagraphs ie, a, b, c. etc. 1991-1999.

All citations in the answer keys for questions from the 1991 - April 1999 Patent Bar Exams. Take this list into the exam room for quick referencing.
Listed and cross indexed along with cross indexes to MPEP, 37CFR, 35USC paragraph .
This is cross-referenced index based primarily on answers cited for questions asked in prior exams from the 1991 - April 1999 Patent Bar Exams.
Question Identification has been removed, so it can be taken into the exam. Much easier to use and more comphrensive than the indexes provide in the MPEP.
Many of the index lines contain a brief summary of the subject, thereby relieving the examinee of the need to look it up. Especially for niggling details like FEE/NOFEE.

These files can be sorted by subject or MPEP/CFR/USC paragraph
to make a tabulated listing of what is asked often.
SORT.EXE in Windows 98 (95 also??) will do it.
SORT.COM in DOS 5 (maybe 6 also??) will not work.
Use SORTBIG.EXE from this page if you do not have SORT.EXE.

Before sorting the frequency-of-asking files, you should re-combine the line-wrapped lines onto 1 line each. Otherwise the sorter will scramble the wrapped fractions. Alternatively, Email me and I will send a non-wrapped version.

Note: SORT.EXE is probably in the \windows\command directory.

These files and the barexams themselves are available on CDROM and/or paper copies from bross@seanet.com. Graphs and summary charts of various complicated subjects for quick reference are also on the CDROM.
