  • Baseball Simulation Stuff
    1. Interesting test of EWB II offensive accuracy (paired t-tests)
    2. The Cornfield League
What happened to them? A similar simulation league. This league also uses teams composed of players from all of baseball history. It uses a career average based formula (I don't know what program/product.) The news on the series was great...a nail biter between Sligo Bay and Fort Worth.

    3. League with interesting team notes on EWB II
      (current year league)
    4. league using current, historical and created players
    5. Baseball simulation league
      Has some description of games.

  • All American Girls League

  • Baseball in Seattle

  • Hanshin Tigers info
He loves that 1985 season, mostly pics. Had current info during 1995 season. His wife is a huge Nomo and Dodgers fan.

  • Chinese (Taiwan) Professional Baseball League
Had weekly updates during last season. A great bonus during the last MLB strike. No update for any of 96 season.

  • Japanese Baseball
Good for historical information, player career stats (brief).

  • Remembering the Negro Leagues
(Frames). Includes current events information. Has a word search of team and player names -- you have to figure out the list.

  • Negro Leagues
Lots of info. In the individual team pages they have a flyer/postbill advertising games -- interesting.

  • Homestead Grays and the Pittsburgh Crawfords
are part of an exhibit by Carnegie Mellon entitled "Bridging the Urban Landscape".

  • "Baseball on the Net" is the final version of SABR's work (June 96)
Most comprehensive of the two sites. They have a list of baseball simulation. SABR's cite is here. WUSTL's archive seems to be gone.

  • Pictures of Minor League Stadia
They have moved to 404. good quality, quite a variety. Even had my friend's childhood stadium, single A field in Elmira.

  • Pictures of Minor League Stadia
Here's a site to replace to the one above.

  • General Minor League Stadium Information
The site owner even e-mailed me with this (relatively) new address. Good stuff.

  • Negro Baseball League Author James A. Riley
They have moved to 404. Riley wrote what is probably the definitive biographical dictionary of Negro League players. This site has moved and the connection is bad.

  • Skilton's Baseball Links
