This time I've opted for an easy path. Someone once told me that her kids liked my pictures of animals, so I'm going show off some the capabilities of my Olympus C-700 at the Woodland Park Zoo.

This was my first picture in the Zoo with Olympus, of your standard free-range peacock. I like the colors.

 

These are three of the zoo's most popular attractions, the tiger and her cubs. And they are quite a handful; or rather a pawful. You see one as he's about to jump up into the rafters of the enclosure..

The great horned owl at the raptor program - I'm very pleased with this picture

 

This is a rather good picture of the lion siting majestrelly. To give you an idea of the difference between the Olympus and my old floppy-disc Sony, I've left this at full size, and included a link to a picture of the same lion (I swear he's been trained to sit there) taken by the Sony

 

Our National Symbol. I won't go into the obvious irony of the chain-link backing. It's just too easy.
