Margarita

Makes a shaker full.

the juice of 1 1/2 limes
the juice of 1 lemon
5 measures tequila
2 1/2 measures triple sec, cointreau or grand marnier
ice for the shaker, and to chill the glasses
salt for the rims of the martini glasses

Put ice into the glasses to chill them. Fill the shaker with ice. Pour the rest of the drink into the shaker. Shake. Pour a little salt into a shallow bowl or onto a plate or saucer. Empty the glasses. Take 1/4 lime or lemon and run it along the edge of the glasses. Turn the glass upside down onto the salt, to coat the rim. Share with friends (because a shaker full of margaritas alone is Not a Good Idea).
