There is a pottery center on the island that has been in production for some time. There is an industrial side and an artsy side. The industrial side makes tiles and building blocks by the thousands, the artsy side, which was at one time apparently larger, makes items for home use.

that house the studios. A house on the

studios look the same, controlled chaos It is all low fire clay, some with
bright glazes others, unglazed
