The Arena Rating System (ARaS) is a universal,
up-to-date program which rates a particular arena's
difficulty. Variables factored into the rating are: surface
conditions, obstacles, levels, jumps, and arena space.
Additional information on medical facilities, weather
conditions, tournaments, statistics, and the local
competition are included as well. The ARaS scale
runs from 1 (easy) to 10 (dangerous).
AADA statistics have shown that the casualty rate
increases 10% to 15% for each level of additional
difficulty.
