Who, Me?

Who am I? you ask. (Or maybe you just clicked the wrong spot, but here you are and here I am.)

I am an artist , designer and writer that likes to apply my interests to community projects as well as to site or project -specific needs. I most enjoy innovating and being as creative as possible to solve problems, and also play with new ideas and new people.

I love to work with people on community driven projects and with organizations on brochures, collateral materials, space design etc.

I also adore working alone on whatever crazy ideas I happen to be pursuring at that point Right now I'm really into alternative photographic processes, genetics and art, scientific imaging. Anyone who wants to email me, click here, about those things, feel free!

Currently, I am nursing the idea of putting my skills to use with specific populations in need of more play and empowerment such as terminally ill children with long hospital stays, and patients with mental illnesses.

My goals would not actually be object-making with these folks, but in fact asking them to help transform the spaces in which they spend their time.

I have a degree in Asian Studies and Anthropology which I actually get to use.

In fact, stay tuned for my crazy adventures in Asia, to be posted sometime in February 2003.

This is my so splendiferous husband Jack. No website about my work would be complete without him. He is terrific, I admire him and He is my best critic and my most fun playmate.

Here he is playing beachcomber and swashbuckler at Gold Bluff beach in the Redwoods. You can see, the guy is a handful.
