About Me

Hello. My name is Dr. David Gould or as my students call me, Dr. Dave.

My academic background includes a BA in Mathematics, a MBA, a Master in Software Engineering, and a EdD with a focus on technology.

My professional career has spanned the information technology, telecommunications, aerospace, and education industries at organizations including NASA, IBM, AT&T, Boeing, the University of Phoenix, City University, Capitol Technology University, and Walden University. Experience includes software engineering, consulting, organizational architecture, sales management, and strategic planning. I currently volunteer with Professors without Borders.

I have taught both online and traditional in-person classes at the Bachelor, Master, and PhD level over the last 20 years. Classes included leadership, managing change, managing teams, research, software engineering, strategic planning, sustainability, systems science, and technology management. I developed Doctor of Business Administration classes on strategic planning and sustainability and a PhD class on systems science. Classes included systems science and quantitative and qualitative research. I also served on doctoral committees. My research interests include systems science, information technology, sustainability, and strategy. Recent publication topics included complex adaptive systems, cybersecurity, strategic planning, and sustainability. Currently focused on research and publication on evolutionary systems.
