" The people of this state [city] do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies that serve them... The people insist on remaining informed so that they may maintain control over the instruments they have created. "--RCW 42.17.251

City of Renton Political Action Network

The purpose of the Renton Political Action Network (RPAN) is two-fold: first, to exchange news and views about city happenings in order to increase public awareness, and second, to serve as a coordinating point to consolidate the power of neighborhood associations. To borrow a motto from a local radio show, the RPAN website "encourages you to think - and once having thought - stand up and speak out."

If you believe that the priorities of city government should be:

  • Priority 1: Preserve and improve the quality of life for current residents
  • Priority 2: Support and promote current Renton businesses
  • Priority 3: Pursue new residential and business development BUT not at the expense of Priorities 1 and 2
then join the Renton Political Action Network (RPAN). Opinion and Freedom of Speech have a home here, but so does Truth. Membership in RPAN is free.

News Brief:  In order to reduce SPAM, you must join the RPAN to post messages. Just send an email to the RPAN. Your membership is totally confidential; however, if you post a message on the newsgroup, your e-mail address will be visible to anyone reading your post.
I haven't updated this webpage in sometime but plan to do so. However, it shouldn't matter because my values haven't changed and neither has the history reflected here. But I do have a new and important website which will help you decide how to vote in the City of Renton at the next election. Please check out http://InieLeague.org

If all the world were of one opinion save for one man only,
the world would have no more right to silence him
than would he if he had the power to silence the whole world.
