KHS is quite possibly the best bicycle manufacturer you've never heard of. We are frequently asked, "Who makes KHS bikes?". The answer is KHS does. In the past, this Taiwanese company made frames for GT, Specialized, Perormance, and others. Gradually, they began marketing under their own name, and they now offer a full line of mountain bikes, road bikes, comfort bikes, tandems, and the least expensive fully equipped track bike on the market.

All their bikes are designed in the US, and most use American True Temper tubing. In contrast to many companies, the emphasis of KHS is not on high end components, but on offering an excellent frame at every price level, with  decent components that are worth upgrading in the future. The   geometry of their mountain bikes in particular, is highly prized by racers.

Lyon Custom Frames. Jeff Lyon has been building fine frames by hand for more than 20 years, and it shows. Over time, he has developed his brazing technique to a level that puts many other framebuilders to shame. He also has the experience necessary to allow him to choose specific tubing for each individual location in the frame, rather than simply building with an entire tubeset chosen by the  tubing manufacturer. In this way, he is able to achieve the ideal balance of ride quality, strength, weight, and reasonable price. Jeff offers stock road frames, cyclocross frames, and touring frames. He can also fulfill most individual desires on a custom basis. He has a long standing  reputation as one of the top tandem framebuilders in the country, and he has recently begun construction a line of adjustable stems. His work is  distinguished by the perfect fusion of fine craftmanship with innovative design.

Hase-Spezialraeder

We are proud to have recently become one of the  elite US dealers for these fine German machines. Hase offers three innovative models: the Pino, a tandem that combines upright and recumbent seating positions for unparalleled comfort, communication, and maneuverability; the Lepus, a suspended, foldable, recumbent trike with tremendous cargo capacity and a wide gear range; and the Kett-Wiesel, an extremely sporty recumbent  trike which combines highly refined geometry, light weight, and a low profile to give you a thrillingly responsive ride.

All are handbuilt in Germany, and there is a host of  options available, including a partial fairing, luggage racks, bags, and many adaptations for handicapped riders. Hase bikes (and trikes) are fun and practical in ways you've never imagined.

Since 1993, the Electra Bike Company has been applying modern technology and design to the time honored cruiser. They offer a full line of bikes with the classic American styling that swept the country in the 40's and 50's, and is still loved the  world over. The addition of modern materials, internally  geared hubs, and highly refined  geometry makes these bikes every bit as functional as they are fun. They may look as luscious as  the streamliners of the yesteryear, but Electras are light, responsive, and  versatile enough to give any other city bike a run for the money.
