Hi! This introduction is linked to a number of pages that reflect my interests. Several - especially the animals' page (cool Basset pictures!) and the Quaker page - are interactive and have guest journals to encourage public dialogue. Others have the links I have been able to identify to other pages of interest - if you suggest more, I'll add them! And one, the grant page, includes basic grant-writing information that I often use when I train grantwriters. You're welcome to copy it - although I do ask that you give me credit if you reproduce it.
- I work from my home as a grant-writer, program planner and community assessment consultant. My practice is focused on human services that are trying to build healthy and caring communities for all people. Most of my work has focused on homelessness, HIV/AIDS services, youth and family services, and substance abuse prevention.
- I'm fortunate to share my life with my partner and our dogs and cats
- And I am a Quaker, with involvement in my local Meeting, the Yearly Meeting of which we are a part, and internet connections between Friends worldwide. As part of my dialogue with others, I've posted a Quaker query on simplicity - and hope that visitors will contribute their own thoughts to an on-line journal on this topic.
