One
of the requirements of the MBA program at Seattle U is to take the 510
course on leadership and team development. A major component of this course
is a 3 day retreat to an outdoor learning experience camp to learn how to
accomplish goals as a team. It was cold and a little damp, but a great
experience altogether.
The
pictures are of each of our teams accomplishing our final goal for the
weekend, the Giant's ladder. Working as a team, starting about 10-15ft in
the air, the goal is to climb from each log 'rung' to the next using only
your partners. Each rung is strung about 3-4" further apart than the one
prior, starting at about 4'6" and moving further and further apart. A little
nerve racking for those afraid of heights, but well worth the trip!

And below are pictures of our teams after
finishing our 'dinner theatre' skits (for me, personally, the hardest part
of the weekend!).
