PREFACE

This book has four parts. The first part is a brief history of the biblical
texts and the scholarly opinions and theories about it. The second part is
a brief history of how the modern Bible came to be, about the old books that
were either included in the canon (accepted books) or rejected. There are
far more rejected books then accepted and a lot of the rejected books
predate the canon of the New Testament. The third section is the heart of
this book. It is about the Bible itself. It is total war, with no quarter
given. There are many experts in the field of biblical theology that could
write a book like this, but out of fear, they won't. For many years, the
author of this book has questioned why a book like this has never been
published. But, a book like this might have been published many times, it
is just that no one cares. The people are asleep and won't wake up. This
book is for those that want to wake up to a great menace and want to know
how to combat it. The menace is the Neocons and their holy culture war.

This book can be read in any place without starting at the beginning. It
has no plot. It is just a book about reality. It can be skipped through at
will, although the first two parts should be read from their starts because
they have a certain logical historical flow.

The story of Jesus is one of the main apologetical reasons that most people
believe in that explains why the Old and New Testament Bible to be so
successful. They think that the reason the Christian Church is one of the
great religions of the world is because when the first Christians gathered
together in Jerusalem, it was because of some "miracle" that actually
happened. The "miracle" empowered them and made them able to persevere
through the harrowing times that awaited them. Otherwise, a small group of
people that believed in a master who was a mere human being who died and was
buried, would not last long and their movement would have been swallowed up
in time. The resurrection of Jesus was the reason for the success of the
Christian church and the advent of the New Testament. This is commonly
believed.

Actually, there is a much better reason. The real reason for the success of
the New Testament and the Christian religion is that the teachings of Jesus
himself recorded in the New Testament are a work of genius. The "red
letter" edition of the Bible is where to find the words of Jesus as
recorded. The words in "red" are Jesus speaking and all of the rest of the
words are those of the narrator or writer of the book. It is not known if
the words in "red" are actually those spoken by the master. But to be sure,
they are the words of the master designated by the narrator or author of the
gospel. Jesus' words are unique and in all the realm of spiritualistic
teachings, there is nothing even close to their sublimity. When Jesus
actually taught, what lived on was his amazing teachings. The resurrection
and all the miracles have to be accepted on faith, while the teachings need
no faith - just a mind to understand them is all that is required, with no
faith - just reason. They are all written down on paper to be studied and
learned, whilst the resurrection and miracles of Jesus are nowhere to be
found except in the heart.

The point of this book is not to show that the teachings of Jesus are false.
The point of this book is to show that what is believed about the person of
Jesus and the Bible can be seriously doubted. Jesus himself is a
mythological creation based on the fact that the Bible when analyzed with
science and reason, falls apart. The miracles and stories are mostly
suspect, but the teachings of Jesus need not be suspected. The truth of
that can be seen in the JEFFERSON BIBLE. Thomas Jefferson was the third
president of the United States and he was a metaphysician. He extracted the
ethical teachings of Jesus from the New Testament from the miracles and
supernaturalism and enshrined them in his edited gospel. This is why the
New Testament and its' Jesus are still famous today. The words of Jesus are
amazing, but the book out of which they come is amazing only in that
billions of people around the world still believe in it as some sort of
"word of God" or an infallible book not to be doubted scientifically of
historically. This author's book can't stop "blind faith." People who are
staunch believers will not give up their myths and legends, ever. But this
author's book offers a way out of the myths and legends if it is read. So
if the reader needs and has a strong desire to keep the myths and legends,
this is not the book to read. But if the reader is ready to be challenged
and ready to reconsider faith even to the point of rejecting that faith and
starting anew, read on.

INTRODUCTION

THE NEOCONS AND THEIR CULTURE WAR

In 1979 I was watching TV and there was Ronald Reagan running for president
of the United States, and standing next to him was the Reverend Jerry
Fallwell. I knew what Jerry Fallwell was all about, and I stared at the TV
in disbelief. I saw the future and it has become true. The United States
government has become a breeding ground of religiosity and it gets louder
and louder. There is a growing hatred for "secular humanistic" thought. It
is being called a "new false religion" by the warriors against liberal ideas
who call themselves "conservatives." NEOCON is another word they use to
name their movement which is short for NEO CONSERVATIVE. They also call
themselves "traditional values conservatives" in which the "values" are
based on Americas Judeo- Christian heritage. This is evidenced by forces in
the US government legislatures working to outlaw abortion, outlaw sex
education in public schools, institute religious training in public school,
force children to pray to "Jesus," make "creationism" equal to evolution in
science class, spend public tax money on "vouchers" for religious schools
and even place monuments with the Ten Commandments in government court
houses.

Their "war on drugs" has become a real menace to freedom. The new word for
all of this is the "culture" war and it wages on against personal choices
such as "medical" marijuana and sexual freedom, including discrimination
against homosexuality and censorship of pornography. "Pornography" is all
in the eye of the beholder, and one persons "Pornography" could be another
persons "art." The "vice" squad is a fave amongst law enforcement agencies.
Even blaming the so called "60's" generation for the woes of today's society
is a part of the neocon culture war. Another title the Neocons have is the
"league of Decency." In fact, during the month of March 2004, the league of
Decency has raised its ugly head in censoring the new liberal television and
radio programs that have seemed to of appeared of late. The league hates
the modern profane language of the people that has been penetrating into the
sterile airways.

The persons who are the real instigators of the so called "conservative"
movement or "culture war" have to have absolutist ideology to base their
doctrines on. The Bill of Rights from the US constitution is to vague for
them, so they need something else, and in all cases, these self righteous
demagogues most powerful ally is the "conservative Christian" movement and
it is the Bible which has become their "law." Their ignorance of the Bible
that they espouse so much is amazing to behold. And without the Bible,
these self righteous demagogue pseudo Christian Neocons have nothing to
stand on except their Hypocrisy.

This so called "conservativeness" lurks everywhere, even in people that
don't espouse the philosophy or appear "conservative" in action and
appearance. It's almost like some kind of genetic disease waiting to
manifest later in life. For instance: I was hanging out at a local bar
with everybody drinking, smoking, dancing, using the "lords" name in vain,
and using foul language etc. I would be conversing with some guy engaged in
this activity and then I would say something negative about religion or
Jesus in particular. Then my conversant who is smoking, drinking, dancing,
cussing and lusting, stops, looks at me, and would challenge what I said
about "his" Jesus. Very strange.

Another example: I would be with friends, and we would be partying. In the
midst of my euphoria's, I would make some comments about the Old Testament
legends of Noah and the Flood, or the exodus of the Israelites, and that
they were myths. Then a fellow euphoriant, (who was Jewish) would be taken
aback very seriously. I would get word the next day that the person was
seriously insulted and hated me. Again, very strange.

So what is that all about? I will call that the great GRAY area. Most
people seem to dwell there. The other two areas of human life on earth are
the dark and the light. Gray is the largest realm while the dark and the
light are the extreme ends. I believe in the existence of good and evil but
it is all relative, because what is "good" for me, is "evil" to a lot of
people in this world. I am a liberal and believe in freedom of the
individual. As long as whatever the individual does doesn't create harm to
others, that is their business only, and no one else's. That is the
"liberal" way - or "libertarian." But there are multitudes that don't take
life that way, and ultimately, want to control everything - people that are
Dictators (Kings), or those who feel that their election makes them the
anointed ones (government leaders) and so forth. That is the world we all
live in. I believe in a law based society, but the laws of the world are
not the laws of "God," but man. But then, there are many that would like to
instill the laws of their "God" on everyone, and then danger and menace
enters the scene. Human rights are destroyed or threatened.

In my opinion, even being the liberal that I am, the Bible remains truly a
masterpiece of literature. But I like the philosophy that says, "study
everything, accept what works, and reject what doesn't work" (Bruce Lee).
The Bible is good for that. There are great things of wisdom in the Bible,
and there are hideous things worthy of total condemnation by a free thinker.
The Bible can be used in many ways, and the way that I prefer, is to use it
and interpret it freely. The Bible doesn't warrant blind belief or as a
source of public law.

There are many theologians and people with theological training that could
write a book like this, but their occupations prevent them. The information
in this book is not new, and what seems "new" and up to date, is really
decades old - like the ideas behind the Minoan Theran volcanic disaster and
its effect on Egypt and the biblical legends of Moses and the Exodus. This
book is not for those that are solidly grounded on their "faith." They
don't need this book. This book is for those that want to expose their
"faith," and go beyond. This book is for those that aren't afraid to doubt
what they have been taught all of their lives, and want to find new things
in religions. This book is for those that are seeking some kind of weapon
that can be used against the Neocons. Only from the mind, can freedom be
achieved. A favorite old saying is, "the pen is mightier than the sword."
The Bible is mightier than the sword also, but the Bible is not the "word of
God," and it can be disproved as the word of God by further "penmanship."
It is the word of man and that is always subject to evolution.

I have detected a phenomenon that is universal with humans, and that is the
need to "make their point." Notice how most people are interested in "being
right." Listen to radio talk show and the myriad's of conversants that
debate and argue points of contention - from politics to religion. Why is
this? Why can't people just be happy to exist without trying to "make their
point" or to attempt to be correct? I think this is proof that everyone on
this planet has some kind of secret knowledge from another life, that they
aren't aware of, but it surfaces in this phenomenon. It is if the
subconscious is more powerful than the conscious. There is an increasing
list of books being written by Neocons that attempt to convince their
readers to change their opinions about politics, religion or ethics and
there are popular books written by liberals to combat the Neocon books, but
the anti Neocon books don't venture into the core of it all - religion and
the book. And in the meantime, the GRAY AREA keeps growing, with history in
continual repetition.

Even the Bible seems to detest the mediocrity of the masses and the majority
GRAY area. A good reference is in the New Testament book of the Revelation.

Revelation 3:15-16 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I
would rather you be cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of my mouth.

Lukewarm represents what I call the great GRAY area. This scripture clearly
reveals the contempt the teacher has for the mediocrity and complacency of
the great GRAY area of life.

Another scripture reference would be the words of Jesus in the book of
Matthew, the first book of the New Testament.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat: For the gate is narrow and the way is hard which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.

The broad wide way is the majority of the people who are GRAY area. The
narrow way is the way of enlightenment and few go there. The
fundamentalists would say that the "narrow way" is the way of salvation
through Jesus, but to this liberal, the "narrow way" is the tough road where
one questions and investigates everything and doesn't go along with the
mindless majority.

When Galilleo invented the telescope and began to teach the world the truth
about the universe, the Holy Inquisition read him his rights;

Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he
shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy
angels, and in the presence of the lamb.

Galilleo recanted and renounced his discoveries. Torture and death by
burning at the stake would be intelligently avoided if possible.

The law of the inquisition was "thou shall not doubt." Modern
fundamentalists also demand that, but they don't have the advantage of the
stake to convince with. With Biblical Epistemology, the law is "thou shall
doubt and be saved."

When analyzed in the light of modern science and knowledge, the Bible is one
of the great literary works, but as far as being the innerant words of God,
as the old song goes, "It aint necessarily so."

Fundamentalist bibliolatry is the belief that the Bible as it is today, is
the literal, infallible, and irrefutable word of God put to paper,
historically and scientifically correct. It is as if the Bible is God.
Biblical Epistemology is the challenge to that. The Bible was not written
by God.

The children should be able to choose their own life's path. If a child has
no choice but what the guardians only desire, that is life censorship. A
child should be brought up with respect and learning. The child should
listen to all and explore the world and its knowledge with the freedom to
question. Eventually, the child begins to grow up and if the child has
choice, will choose a path. Then, if a child chooses the wrong path, it can
always be unchosen as life evolves. The freedom to choose what works and to
reject what doesn't is the path to success. All children deserve that.

Biblical Epistemology can give the child ability to fend off the traps of
false beliefs. It then becomes natural for the child to grow up freely
choosing what is useful and good and rejecting what is not. Biblical
Epistemology will light the way to thwart the entrapment of myths and
legends making for the betterment of the life ahead.

Another hypocrisy of the Neocons is how they will not allow the teaching of
biblical literature in the public high schools. The Neocons want Darwin
banned from the science class or at least dumbed down with the inclusion of
the pseudo science of "creationism" as a "worthy" alternative for the sake
of "fairness." One of the main fundamentalist failures at thinking is their
continued argument that creationism is a science. Creationism is a religion
only and will always be.

The study of biblical literature and comparative religion is an excellent
subject to teach the young students. These subjects can be taught not as a
proselytizing religion, but as historical and science knowledge. The
legends and religions of the ancient world are the foundation of
civilization and they are well exposed by the science of archaeology.

The reason there will never be a biblical literature or comparative religion
class in public high school is because soon after the class starts, a
fundamentalist parent will jump up and scream, "how dare you teach my child
that the 'flood of Noah' is a legend." "We know that there is a big wooden
boat sitting up there on Mount Ararat because they found it, and the reason
you don't know about it is because of the liberal conspiracy to pervert our
children and take away their faith"! The teaching of the legendary status
of Noah's Flood is an absolute. Noah's flood as written literally in the
Bible is a legend and it is easy to prove that. So then, in the course of
the class, it will surely come up and then a big controversy would begin
with the local church people (churchianity). It would get into the local
newspaper and then on to the local TV news where it would gravitate towards
human interest TV shows like 60 minutes or ABC primetime and then it will
wind up being argued before the supreme court where it will be deemed
unworthy to be taught in public school. After all, most of the members of
the high court actually regard themselves to be "Roman Catholic" or other
fundamentalist types of religions.

But the fundamentalists do have the right to form Bible "clubs" in the High
School. That is certainly their right under the first amendment, but the
Bible clubs are not a part of the curriculum and students get no credit.
Plus, the Bible clubs are basically a church service that the high school
students can run on their own. There are no Bible clubs that engage in
biblical criticism. Biblical criticism is an unknown entity in the realms
of the young, and the fundamentalist Neocons make sure it stays that way.

Religion can be the enemy or the friend of the child and the uninitiated.
The ancient cultures of the Amazon rain forest have been Christianized to
the very point of upcoming total extinction. If the Indians were to have
biblical Epistemology, the missionaries would have to convert to the ancient
ways or like the pop song goes - "Don't go away mad, just go away."

In this world of illusive truth, what is real? Just because ones'
philosophy is based on myth or unreality doesn't mean it won't work in the
realm of human psychology. Human existence is like a dream state to begin
with. If the Christian dogma, or any other unproved philosophy works for a
persons psychic well-being, even if it is a dream or myth, that is not bad.
And if it makes one do better in life, it is all the better. Being a
mythatist for ones own good is not bad, but taking it to the politic and
censoring the choices of those that aren't believers is not the way of
freedom.

The word "conservative" can describe a religious or political point of
view. As of late, it has become more of a movement then ever before. This
"movement" is hard at work trying to rule over the individual and they want
to make the United States of America acknowledge their God (Jesus) in the
laws of the land.

Their method is to instill the young with absolutist quasi religious
(Biblical) teachings to turn them into the ongoing voting block that elects
conservative type politicians (preachers and fundamentalists, pro drug war,
anti welfare of any kind, anti abortion and choice, pro extreme with guns,
pro heavy military spending and over seas intervention, star wars pseudo
science, and worse of all - anti environmental.)

1st type - Traditional family values - AKA - Judeo Christian. This is the
main group that leads the way waving the flag and a Bible.

2nd type - Military conservatives

3rd type - Republican party liners (pseudo libertarians).

4rth type - The great clueless majority (the gray area)

What unites these "conservatives" is a narrow view of the world and the
belief that America is the only country with the "right stuff." And when
the foundation of their beliefs is explored, one always hits paydirt with
the Bible. They overwhelmingly agree amongst themselves that the USA is
founded on Judeo Christianity even if they are clueless to what "Judeo
Christianity" actually means.

There are some conservatives (usually "Christian") with the same values as
the fundamentalist Christians but who won't admit the Bible as the authority
of the laws. In their case, it is themselves that are the authority which
becomes the basis of a dictatorial reality. Knowing how to debunk the Bible
is the only real way of fighting back since the Bible is what makes these
people so "absolutely right."

A typical gray area phenomenon is the two headed neocon radio talk show
ministers, of both the Christian and Rabbinical persuasion. They go for
their agenda while ignoring the deeper aspects of their so called
"theology." Their agenda is to inflict religiosity into the law of the land
such as banning abortion, ratcheting up the drug war, making public school
children hear prayers to Jesus, and putting the ten commandments on the
court house walls et et.

It is very odd to see them in pairs, a Jew and a Christian or even two Jews
supporting their Christian "brothers" who behind the scenes, teach that non
believing Jews are not "saved". The neocon Christians support their non
believing Jewish "brethren" because according to Christian fundamentalist
biblical beliefs, God will save Israel at the end of time.

Judaism doesn't acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah to come and Christianity
doesn't acknowledge Judaism as a real religion because Judaism rejects
Jesus, so therefore they are Godless to the Christians. But nevertheless,
the neocon two headed Jewish Rabbis and Christian ministers support each
other because of their political neocon social agenda.

A personal observation: the author was talking to a neocon "atheist" on a
late night radio talk show. He was making fun of the believers in Jesus.
So I called him and talked about the political agenda of the neocon Jesus
people. He was with me until I mentioned that I didn't want the ten
commandments in my court room. He supported the ten commandments in the
public arena. He was mystified how I could not agree with the virtue of the
ten commandments in the court room. I then said that it was the first
commandment that was the real problem, "I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND YOU
SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GOD'S BEFORE YOU." I said, "who is the Lord?" "Why
should I have to believe in the Lord in my court room when the first
amendment of the US constitution says that there shall be no laws regarding
religion?" His answer was, "they're only words." The gray area is
gigantic, growing, mindless and always mediocre.

The Constitution of the United States of America is not founded on Judeo
Christianity. It is a secular humanist document. Of course, religiosity is
rampant through out American history, but in truth, the "founding fathers"
were secular humanists. That is why the constitution of the USA begins with
"We the people." The only actual mention of God in the constitution is at
the bottom of the great document, in the date - "1787 in the year of our
Lord." That is a date, not a doctrine. There must have been an intense
battle between the Christian fundamentalist and the secular humanist
factions present. Keeping the name of God out of the law was a great
triumph of genius and created the freedom that the western world still has.
It is up to us, the people, to decide what is evil or good. But of course,
all the religions of the world are part of the decision, but they are not a
part of the Law.

A typical example of the new conservative agenda is to put the biblical ten
commandments (Law of Moses) on the public school walls and in the government
institutions (on the wall of every courthouse etc.) They know that they
can't win with that, because the first amendment clearly prohibits mixing
religion and government. But where they are dangerous, is that they don't
care and without rest, continually assault the Bill of Rights with their
religiosity. They want to change the constitution to enable their religious
"freedom." Their "freedom" is to legislate faith.

When other beliefs are suggested, the absolute moralist fundamentalists
refer to those other beliefs as "crazy." UFO beliefs, and reincarnation are
just as mysterious as the biblical literalist myths and legends. In fact,
to call biblical myths and legends science fiction is an accurate
description. Jesus coming down from the sky with chariots of fire and
angels to destroy the world and to gather up the elect, and transporting
them to the heavenly Jerusalem seems not to different from lights in the sky
coming down with extraterrestrial gods giving the chosen humans a lift to
another planet. Aliens and UFO's are essentially no different than angels
and chariots of fire, but the moralist fundamentalist biblical crusaders
don't see that. Their angels and chariots of fire are of God, but someone
else's UFO's and extraterrestrials are a type of view, that a few centuries
ago would have resulted in a visit by local friendly priests with a follow
up by the inquisition.

The ancient religion of death and rebirth into a succession of earth lives
(metaphysical evolution) is essentially the same as the Bibles one time
death and resurrection to the afterlife. It is all quite fanciful and
basically unprovable.

Even the scientific big bang cosmology creation theory is out of this world
and incomprehensible. Scientists don't really "believe" in it. They just
accept it because it is understood in what is seen and examined (science and
technology) and the big bang theory was created as the best explanation.
Scientists are ready to accept a better theory if it comes along. Big bang
cosmology is not dogma. Science has choice. Fundamentalism is without
choice, with only God as the answer.

The word theology is an oxymoron. Theo means God or divinity and ology
means "the study of." It seems reasonable to assert that the existence of
the supernatural has never been proven. So if that is the case, how can one
study it, let alone study the creator of the supernatural, God? Biblical
Epistemology is anthrotheological, which means the study of mans concepts
and theories about the divine.

Fundamentalists will describe how the experience of accepting Christ has
changed his or her life for the better. Or that through a personal
experience, the Bible can be proven. Personal experience is no defense of
the infallibility of the Bible which if truly infallible, should prove
itself without personal interjection. Fundamentalists of all types other
than Christians, also make those personal claims of self improvement through
belief and faith. So if the Bible is indeed special, the book itself must
speak infallible truth to prove that it is written by God, and that proof
can not depend on subjective things such as personal experience, beliefs or
faith. It is the Bible that is the argument against itself. The Bible is
full of contradiction and errors of all kinds, from historical fact and
science to common sense. Knowing about those problems in the scripture is
biblical Epistemology.

Most intellectual secular humanists focus on Darwinian theory in debates
with creationists. This never works because of the many mysteries of
evolution that remain unsolved. There is a certain amount of "faith" that
must be used to completely accept Darwin, no matter how good the evidence
continues to mount up. So if the secular humanist is to prevail over
fundamentalist religionists, the humanist must not resort to humanist
"faiths," but must go right to the Bible and use scientific fact to
enlighten. That is the purpose of Biblical Epistemology.

How can these Neocon fundamentalist pseudo patriot right wing "Judeo
Christian" traditional values fake "libertarian conservative" Republican
moral majority self righteous demagogues be stopped? To stop the enemy, one
must know the enemy and predict his attack. That is how Napoleon and
Alexander the Great conquered the world. They did not engage the enemy
without being certain of victory. The Bible ("Judeo Christian family
values") is the heart and soul of the Neocon movement, it is their
foundation, their absolute law, and that which gives them their certitude
and moral authority, and most of all, it is their belief that the Bible is
the basis for the U.S. Constitution. But, if their "moral authority" is
flawed and based on myths and legends, their "moral authority" is really
nothing but that which they believe, and belief is not what logic and
science fact is based on.

The Neocons are the preachers, believers, agenda pushers, war mongers, and
control freaks such as anti abortionists and religionists enforcing their
agendas on the people through the law. For instance, the anti abortionist
movement: they are a "stealth" movement. The only real recourse they have
is to strike down the famous US supreme court decision called "Roe verses
Wade." "Roe verses Wade" made abortion legal in 1973. There have been
countless attempts at the federal, state and local levels to hamper or even
outlaw abortion, but because of this 1973 supreme court decision, those
attempts did not work. The real heart of this stealth anti abortion
movement is the desire to pass a new constitutional amendment - called
"Right to Life." It is not parental notification or even the "partial birth
abortion ban," but this "Right to Life" proposition would declare a human
female egg cell (Ovum - 23 chromosomes) that is fertilized by a male sperm
cell (23 chromosomes) and becomes a zygote (46 chromosomes) is a fully self
existent HUMAN BEING with all rights therein, including the right to be
protected by law. Most people don't realize (a "stealth" tactic) that if a
zygote was protected by the law, hormonal birth control pills would join the
drug war. If there was a constitutional "right to life" amendment, hormonal
birth control would not only be illegal, but it would be a murder charge.
Hormonal birth control pills stop zygote (embryonic) attachment to the
uterine wall of the mother, and allow the embryo to be "flushed" out of the
uterus by way of monthly cycled menstruation or an early miscarriage.

In the year of 2003, President George Bush Jr. (a Neocon) banned
governmental funding for embryonic stem cell research, which is also called
Òtherapeutic cloningÓ. This research has already shown to be a cutting edge
science, with promise to help the living, but because new embryos are
created in-vitro and their new ÒstemÓ cells are harvested and recultured,
the neocons say that this is the murder of a human being, even though the
"human being" is no bigger than a pencil dot on paper. The Neocons do allow
the continued use of "stem cell lines" that already exist, but
scientifically they are almost worthless. A scientist needs to know the
source, the age and a host of important data concerning the embryonic stem
cells, and the only way to really accomplish that, is to create them
invitro, in the lab. It is the newly created embryonic stem cells that are
the ones that display the ability to form into every type of cell in the
human body. These stem cells are the genesis of human life, but do they
have a "soul"? The Neocons say that the tiny embryos have a soul and that
they are actually "people" (babies). Those beliefs are just that, beliefs
and that is religion and they have no place in science. But the Neocons
have successfully put a crimp into the new science because they say that a
small mass of embryonic stem cells (embryo) is a human being with a "soul."
But the Neocons aren't happy with that at all because they want nothing more
than the complete banning of the science.

Another "stealth" Neocon tactic is with the drug war. This concerns mostly
the so called "libertarian Republicans." These people speak of the right of
privacy and they feel that the drug war infringes on it. They believe,
rightly so, that the draconian drug laws are more damaging to society than
the drugs themselves, and then there is the question, what does DRUG mean?
The word "drug" can mean practically anything. Drugs are a vast subject and
they all differ. Marijuana is not alcohol, but alcohol is a contributing
factor in the deaths of thousands of innocent people in this country every
year. Marijuana has never shown to be a "death" dealing drug, other than
people being murdered by D.E.A. swat teams on search and destroy missions
hunting for the evil weed from hell. The draconian drug war of the USA is
one of the most evil forces ever unleashed upon humanity, and it is all done
in the name of "save the children." Disregard the rights of adults.

But unfortunately, these so called "enlightened" ones (conservative
Republican libertarians), always in the end, support and vote for the
mainstream "conservatives." And that is because these mainstream
conservatives are the only ones of the so called "libertarians" that are
electable (in this big Gray Area country). The mainstream "conservatives"
are without doubt, totally supportive of the draconian drug laws and refuse
to even consider alternatives.

The Neocons are so bankrupt in logic that one of their main thrusts is to
blame the "60's" generation for the sins of today - the so called rampant
immorality or lack of morality that supposedly pervades modern society. It
is true that the 60's can be stereotyped as the "sex, drugs, and rock and
roll" generation. But also there was another major influence of the 1960's
and into the 70's. That was the Viet Nam War. The one thing that was truly
unique about that war, was that it took place in living rooms around the
country, coming in loud and clear via television. Technology provided the
means. Previous to the 1960's, this technology didnÕt exist. Back in the
50's and before, all the youth basically believed in the so called "adults."
There was really no reason to disbelieve and loose respect for the "elders."
The youth had respect for the leaders of the society. But with the Viet Nam
war, things changed very fast. And that was the fact that the lies and
treachery of the hierarchy (leaders) became very obvious. And then, the
"leaders" would continue to lie and since then, it has been non-stop lying
to the point of driving the young people into their own world. It is like
what happened to the good townsfolk of the mythical town of HAMLIN. When
they lied to the pied piper and didnÕt pay him for ridding their town of the
rats, the pied piper took their children to a better place. The Neocons are
the "new" lying hierarchical leadership of the society. And the reason why
the youth of today seem so anarchical, is that the respect for authority is
broken because the "authority" has been revealed to be hypocritical beyond
anything seen since the beginning of civilization, because, it is broadcast
through the media to everyone on this planet that has an eye and an ear.
The modern media is all powerful, and it pervades every nook and cranny of
society, from the top on down and there before the eyes of the people, the
"leaders" bash and destroy the freedoms that the U.S. Constitution has
given. Here is a question one can ask a Neocon: while holding an american
flag in one hand, and the US Constitution in the other, ask which one can be
burned? They will go ballistic if the flag is burned. But if the US
constitution is burned, no problem, it's only hemp paper.
