Christy Wyckoff is an artist today, living and working in Portland, Oregon. He was the first video art student at the University of Washington School of Art where Bill Ritchie taught (and founded a video art course) from 1966-1985.

Transcripts from the spoken sound tracks of selected videos from Ritchie's video archive from videotapes and audiotapes, the words were converted to text by careful listening and keyboarding into a word processor.

For example, the transcription is for Lisel Salzer, below, Seattle's 97-year old portrait artist who worked at length to pioneer the revival of the art of fused-glass painting, or Limoges enamel.

Above: In her videotape, Lisel Salzer, left, poses with Izumi Kuroiwa after the finished portrait of Izumi for "Lisel Salzer: Her Art and the Revival of Limoges Enamel."
