Barry Moser
A Master illustrator of deluxe books and television specials, he engraves and prints his own
blocks in this video. He shows the process from the drawing to the printing.
The tape was made live during a workshop where professionals and students were seeing how to select end-grain blocks, the special tools to use and methods of engraving--plus
how to use a power tool.
Moser is an artist, craftsman and designer, and based in West Hatfield, MA at the time of this recording. He owns
Penny Royal Press, a producer of fine books. Mr. Moser was in Seattle to make this recording.
