RIISMA'S ART GALLERY

Ritchie's International Institute for Study of Multimedia Arts (RIISMA) is a for-profit research gateway for arts, education, business and technology. The art shown in its gallery was not made for commercial markets or public display. Like many of the artists' creations, they were made in the spirit of individual research--although not always in isolation nor without the hope that the projects would have large audiences some day.

Below: An artist's stampwork from video art and lithography.

The rounded-edges of the heart image can be seen against the tiger stripes. The stamp was to commemorate a one-person show by Bill Ritchie at the Francine Seders Gallery, Seattle*. The stamp is 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch and was made in 1973. (*Note: Ritchie is no longer associated with the Francine Seders Gallery.)
