CT Chew showed me his year's portfolio from his class and I see now what is meant by the art of teaching--how an artist makes even a school classroom and turning boys and girls into works of art.

Commercialization has segmented art as a way of giving it monetary worth based on debt leveraging, which in turn is based on fear. CT's work at the art gallery never sold well enough to be worth his time and effort and in its segmented, diced, sliced and pureed form can not compare to his art now. Funny, isn't it?

They never told me I could find anyone interested in this before, until this gicleé thing popped up.

I was just being a smart ass, and I said, "Reminds me of serigraphy." They looked at me like, "What?" and then I told them silkscreen prints used to be hard to sell as art until they stuck a foreign word in place of silkscreen.

The really funny thing is no one uses silk anymore. I didn't go on about that. I've got a bad enough rep without that.
