E'STUDIOS ART GALLERY
A completely electronic art studio and art gallery does seem a bit far-fetched to the traditional, purist art-types that give us the reinforcement we need to believe in the living tradition of fine arts, crafts and design. Nevertheless, there is a link between tradition and technology. Somewhere in between these is a domain where electronic tools are used in the process that yields real art. This is the dominion between virtue and reality, a virtual artist's paradise called Emeralda, where everyone has a perfect studio.

Electronic artists I have known--above, left, in the series is
"Hands of Carl Chew on My Father's Farm"--named for
the videotape we made in 1974. Right, the newest artist telecard, "Emeralda Bridge" you can buy on-line. Get some FAQs about this emerging new art form!
Bill Ritchie is upgrading his collection of Handmade Dogs,
now showing in the Electronic Studios and Art Gallery. You can click on them for two better views.
The stamp version of Numbers 11, 26 and 27 are above. Also see Living Prints Mezzotint On-line
as Number 11 from the series becomes a mezzotint print you can watch being made.
