Bill H. Ritchie, Jr. is the architect of a project he named EarthSafe 2022 for which he continuously develops of an asset management and legacy transfer system designed for online learning/teaching, research and practice for educators in art, crafts and design.
Mr. Ritchie invented A Method of Play for Emeralda, an online interactive cooperative game. Prior to this he founded and operated a consulting company focused on media arts education. For this he manages his own Web site, Emeralda.com.
From 1966 to 1985 Bill was with the University of Washington School of Art. He produced videotapes on media arts and developed and tested prototypes of magneto-laser optical medium textbooks on art practices. Since 1985, his focus is on modeling art education technology and web based course delivery systems.
