Prints, Stencil

Stencil, or screenprinting, uses a stencil on or imbedded in a taut frame of silk, synthetic fabric or metal screen. Thick, soupy ink is squeegeed across the image area and is pushed through the stencil onto paper, fabric, plastic, metal, etc. The image above is a 1988 screenprint on paper composed by Ritchie titled "Lunar Concerns" from from the Chew-Ritchie CD/ROM Study Portfolio.
