Welcome to The Official Martyn Lovell web site! We've received a deluge of mail from his fans around the world asking basic questions such as 'Who is he?', 'What has he done?' and 'Why exactly are you referring to me as a fan?'. This site was set up to answer all those questions, and less. :)

When I started this site, my focus was on publishing my growing list of great websites. Though there are a seemingly infinite number of web directories, few seem to meet my needs any more, so I decided to publish my own. You'll find this list a good way to browse some of the best, and the quirkiest parts of the internet. Please send me some of your favourite sites.

My next step was to start adding a profile to the site. What self-respecting megalomaniac wouldn't want a detailed profile of himself on the internet? I've since expanded this to include a full profile, and details of my interests, including Movies, Arts, Music and many other diversions.

I've now started adding to the site some of my other creative endeavours. I'm a keen creator of puzzles (mental gymnastics, not shaped bits of cardboard!) and many of my recent efforts can now be found in that section. Try out a few and see if you can solve them!

I'm also hosting pages for a couple of groups I participate in: Great Apes [A book club I founded] and Grier Family Picnic [A puzzle team I participate in].
