We selectively breed to studs that will best compliment each female. We provide honest, knowledgeable support both before and after the sale to help our customers to achieve their goals.

Regarding histograms and breeding: We keep our alpacas properly fed on a diet of fresh pasture, orchard grass hay, and camelid formulated pellets and minerals. Our average micron diameters, SD's and CV's are at or below average for mature alpacas. We give our alpacas proper nutrition to be top producers...of more alpacas! Fleece fineness is only one trait out of dozens to consider and is affected by diet.

Sold! A big thank you and congratulations to Sharon Webb and Jim Brown in VA!!! They snatched up this exceptional producer for only $17,500.
ARI: 808226 DoB: January 1997
Lady Jacira's ("Ha-seer-a") fleece received a perfect  score (20 points) for handle (judge: Maggie Krieger) and three second place awards (EVAA, PNAA, AAWW). Her fleece has 7-8 crimps  per inch, lots of luster and has maintained its fineness through three pregnancies and on a healthy diet. She's one of the best of the rarest...only 15 gray females passed the final, most stringent,  1998 Peruvian importation. She consistently passes her best  qualities on to her offspring! See 6Peruvian Paulina (below) and Megabuck Mink (males page), her amazing, black 2001 dynamo son by our 4Peruvian Locota who we are retaining as a junior herdsire.  We have also trained Jacira to not only lead but also to load like  a dream and take her injections unrestrained! We rebred her to 1999  AOBA conformation and fleece winner Royal Peruvian Challenger and are very anxiouslty awaiting the cria! Due October 2002.
