A little bit about the Seattle Robotics Society

The SRS meets on the third Saturday of each month in room J-314 at the Renton Technical College in Renton, WA. The meetings start at 10:00 AM, break for lunch from noon until about 1:00 PM, and finally end about 3:00 PM. Meetings are open to the public; attendance averages about 50 people and 15 to 20 robots.

Feel free to explore the SRS Web page.

As it says in our club newsletter, the Encoder:

The Seattle Robotics Society was formed in 1982 to serve those interested in learning about and building robots. We are a diverse group of professionals and amateurs, high-school and college professors, engineers, and tinkerers. Our passion is the creation of cybernetic creatures that challenge the old definitions of life, intelligence, and practicality. If you are building a robot or just planning one, come down and meet the gang. We are on an exciting journey and welcome you to join us.
