Gentlemen, mark your books!

  • Space Telescope Science
This is easily my favorite web site, and it changes regularly so it's worth revisiting. It has the latest pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope along with descriptions of what the pictures are and mean. My favorite part is how almost every observation pokes holes in another theory. Be sure to check out the other links on these pages as there are some excellent pictures saved up there.

  • My AppleScript Links
I keep a pile of links on this page for your AppleScript linking pleasure. It's not meant to be comprehensive, but it will get you some useful information.

  • Ski Maps
This site has a collection of large JPEGs of ski resort trail maps. You can scope out resorts before you go to them or point at places you've been in an effort to show your cohorts how studly you are.

  • Lake Tahoe Camera
This is a camera pointed at Lake Tahoe from a variety of places. It's not really of a ski area, but it's close enough and seems reliable.

  • Sons of Myrgard
This is a starting place for learning about Myth: The Fallen Lords, a game that makes previous combat games pale in comparison. Warning, if you don't like seeing undead creatures hacking your warriors to bits, don't play this game!

  • Descent & Descent II
are damn cool games. I've played them both a couple of times through and it's addictive. Throw in a couple other people on the net, and it's insane.

  • Star Wars
Did you stand in line a million times back in 1976? Have you been waiting for George Lucas to make the first three movies? Then this site is the place for you. It has a mess of good stuff, including a QuickTime movie of the new Star Wars release trailer.

  • Edmunds Auto Buyers Guide
This is the "Blue Book" with the wholesale and retail prices of just about every used car in existence. A must visit site for anyone buying or selling a car.

  • QuickTime VR
If you haven't seen QuickTime VR, then you don't know how cool your computer can be. Be sure to check out Nature Break, a site which uses QTVR to take you on a hike in New Mexico.
