YETI

• Yeti, also known as the "abominable snowman", has been quietly living and subsisting in the Himalayas in and around Nepal and Tibet.  No one really knows where she comes from, how long she has been here, or what she is.  Just like Sasquatch this intelligent creature is mysterious and chooses to remain elusive and out of sight.  Shy and peaceful, her kind has been the subject of many legends, folklore and stories.  What is Yeti?  Proto-hominid, large unknown primate, alien...?

  • The largely unchecked industrialization of China to their north has resulted a steady increase in air pollution in this region.  While both Nepal and Tibet are still relatively "untouched" by direct industrialization, their urban centers are becoming increasingly polluted and China is anxious to exploit Tibet's rich natural mineral resources thru complete unethical, unsound, dangerous and totally invasive mining techniques.  Some of the most impressive natural areas still exist in Nepal and Tibet, but who knows for how much longer

• Yeti prides herself on her beautiful white colored fur and her expert snow craft.  Yeti loves knives and proudly uses her large traditional Nepalese Ghurka Knife to dispatch her enemies.  She also throws rock filled snowballs at the heads of people she doesn't like.  Solitary for the most part, she also becomes lonely from time to time.  While usually isolated, her curiosity gets the better of her and she often quietly eavesdrops on foreign trekkers and climbers in the area.  She has kept herself updated on current events this way and has also "borrowed" portable radios left at various base camps in the mountains. Her favorite radio show is N.P.R.  With the internet now available in urban centers, she now often sneaks into the various wired cafes at night to also surf the internet.  Thru the web she met Sasquatch.  They courted each other long distance via email and are now madly in love.  With similar backgrounds and a growing anger towards the human exploitation of the earth, they made contact thru an underground network and joined forces with the I.W.G....
