This is the Sprint 500 Vertical Windlass installed on the foredeck of the MaXum. It is mounted off center, so the pull line is aligned with the bow roller. A chain lock is absolutely necessary, as you cannot rely on the windlass one way clutch to keep the anchor secured under all conditions. |
