| I removed the windshield
by cutting around the gasket from the inside. This made it easy to remove.
I sanded the frame and applied primer/sealer. The finished windshield bolster
trim was installed, so the material folded over and around the frame, to
be locked in place with the gasket. I got a new gasket from, once again,
Nissan. Byron at Speedy Auto Glass installed the new gasket and windshield,
and transfered the SS trim. I had them apply a 5" shaded band to the glass,
which the tint guy expertly curved down at the corners. Looks really slick. |
