Lighting Work

I set about to fix all the external lighting. The front marker light housings were totally rotted away. The same units were used on the 210s and 240Z models, but I was in a hurry so I made my own housings. These consisted of .040" abs plastic sheet, and cells from a plastic ice cube tray.
I super glued them together. The 914 lamp sockets are available for a couple bucks at auto parts stores, and are held in the housing with a dab of hot glue.
The front turn signal housings were badly corroded but saveable. I sandblasted the housings and buffed the reflector, then sprayed it with chrome paint. I got new gaskets from Ross at Sport Imports, and polished the lenses.
