Interior Work
This section is divided into several parts, as the different aspects of interior replacement are separate projects in themselves.

The interior of the car was in shreds. All original, with 32 years of wear and tear. The carpet was a rotted rag, and a previous owner had spent many a nervous hour in traffic neurotically picking at the console and dash covering. The rear package shelf material was dried out and cracking, as were the perimeter and windshield trim bolsters. The visors were bags of decomposed stiffener board and foam. The windshield bolster foam was firm and intact under the covering and was reused. The metal door and rear perimeter bolster pieces were sandblasted and reused also.
