Door Check Fabrication and Repair
The door checks on both doors had been crudely repaired previously, and the left one was missing entirely. Repair required fabricating new door check panels for the doors, and welding them in.
This shows the poor repair and condition of the original door check flange on the right door.
The left door check flange was missing, torn out from the previous repair.
Patch panels  being welded to the doors, to stabilize the area and provide a solid mounting for the new door checks.
Two new door check flange assemblies are fabricated from scratch. Plug weld holes are drilled prior to installation.
