User Configuration

Because we use bash, the shell runs our local .bashrc. That calls /etc/profile, which is provided in the basic YaST install. /etc/profile calls /etc/SuSEConfig/profile, which is generated automatically from /etc/rc.config by SuSeconfig. /etc/profile then calls /etc/profile.local. After these includes, bashrc continues on with personal choices.

~/.bashrc
See: .bashrc

/etc/profile

/etc/profile.local
