This simple robot was designed to be just smart enough to wander around on a table top without falling off of the edge. It also can see light from above, giving it a crude sense of direction.

As simple as it is it has been a real crowd pleaser. I like to start it running on a table, then walk away and let everyone else wonder if it will fall off. It has hit the floor a few times, usually I can fix it just by straightening out what gets bent.
