Universal Hovercraft sells templates for carving your own fans and props.
This will be an on going page about refitting the Lil hovercraft. In an effort to  keep it brief I will change the pic's and commentary to reflect current events.

Well here she is after a year of very hard abuse, all things considered, not bad!

Here she is ready to go again, minus one muffler!

Steering cables have been removed and I have switched out the rudder control cables for a single morse 33c push pull. I had to move the rudder pivot screws in about 3/8" to maintain full movement. Building up the cable mounts with blocks looks a bit tacky now but the cable works real smooth. We will take this into account for the next craft

Sanded her down and sealed the wood with epoxy, on the outside that is. I won't skip that again, even on a prototype inside and out!! Now for a quick landlord paint job make a new prop guard and good for the next round of testing!

To the right is the drive fan. I was going to trim the chord down a bit to pick up some rpm's but have decided that it would be less work to buy a brand new Briggs 8hp engine instead! This will also tell me if my fan was cut to steep, or the engine was just too tired to spool it up. So, a quicky paint job and the addition of some leading edge tape and we will be good to go! and ofcourse this will also free up an 8hp lift engine for the 12T4 too! Yes! that sweeet justification again!

I actually got some work done today! I have been out of the game with a blown out knee for the last few weeks! The landlord paint job is done and we mounted the new 8 1/2hp Briggs this evening. I prep sanded and rebalanced the white 26/18 and patch painted and installed leading edge tape.
