DISCLAIMER:
Researcher makes no warranty of any kind concerning the search, including, but not limited to adequacy, relevance, completeness, error, incidental or consequential loss, or security.

The data bases of approximately 2,0000,000 entries originated in the United States Patent Office and has been passed through several organizations which may have made various edits. Errors are known to be in the data base and consequently appear in the search presented to you. More than one data base may be searched. Thus, various finds (hits) may be have different format and/or detailed information.

The data bases expected to be used consist primarily of issued patent number, title, classification, and abstract from approximately 1971. Some data bases have additional information of value. NOTE: This is considerably less information than is available from review of the full patent document.

Full patent documents are available from the USPTO at $3 each, at most Official Patent Depository libraries, and at some public libraries. Searcher has access to microfilm (xeroxable to paper) copies.

The success of a search is primarily dependent on the key words supplied. Too many words in a Boolean "and" produces a small found set. Too few words or too many words in a Boolean "or" produces more finds than can be managed in a practical manner.

Searcher reserves the right to organize and limit the search, to include synonyms, alternate spelling, suffixes, Patent classifications, and other criteria to manage the size of the resulting found-data set.

The Internet is not secure communication. Use at your own risk. Searcher is NOT required to keep your submission for a free search in confidence, but as an engineer, is not a blabbermouth and will not deliberately or knowingly act injuriously.
Search results consist of information widely available in the public domain, there is NO obligation to hold discovered information as exclusive to this search.

QUERY:
Remember this is an unsecure submission.

Please submit the following information as the basis for a search:

1. Key words, including synonyms, particularly words or expressions
commonly used in the field of your invention. Each branch of
manufacturing has its own jargon which may have different meanings in
other contexts. For example "tree" in farming is far different from
"tree" in software or most engineering. In an oil field "Christmas
tree" is the collection of valves and stuff on top of a oil well pipe.

2. Patent classification(s), if known. Review the classification
list elsewhere on the home page or at http://www.uspto.gov.

3. If you know how, form your words into a Boolean expression, ie
connected by "and", "or", "not", and "adj", and bunched by () when
needed.

4. When practical, do not include information describing your
invention that will give it away. Usually, but not always, this would
be description of how the elements described by your search words
interrelate to each other and the purpose of your invention.

This is an largely-plain text file.
Downloads are readable by ordinary non-webber-geek real people.
It can be read by most word processors and file browsers.

KEY WORDS, PHRASES, AND/OR COMMENTS :

Be SURE to include a CORRECT, PROPERLY FORMATTED RETURN ADDRESS. Either in the box or in the body of the request.

NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY IN 24 HOURS, SEND A MESSAGE VIA YOUR REGULAR EMAIL HANDLING PROGRAM. ( Which also guarantees a properly formatted return address).

If you cannot describe the key words without revealing your invention, which is not uncommon, please Email your concern and I will return my Postal mailing address and/or telephone number for non-web communication. Note: Direct modem-to-modem communication by dial-up private telephone is practical with the web access hardware you have.

If you wish your search report to be encrypted, please include a password or phrase of any length and the results will be encrypted by the encryption option of PKZIP. . For added security, (maybe, probably) you should send the password in another Email. . Preferably using your regular Email program.
See PKZIP manual for description of the level of security provided.

Be SURE to include a PROPERLY FORMATTED Email Address. That means use or do not use spaces, capital letters, commas, dots, etc unless they are a proper part of your Email address. Many servers give distinct meanings to capital letters, commas, spaces, and dots. So if they are misused, I probably cannot send a reply back.

Email your request to :bross@seanet.com
