INFORMS 08: Open Source Graduate Research Topics
Description
Many open source projects have items on their wish list
which would make good graduate student research topics.
The speakers for this session will be active contributors
(or students working with active contributors) for a
mature open source project that is available on the web.
They will speak about one or more
research topics from the wish list for the project.

Abstracts
Requirement
Abstract must be at most 500 characters (approximately 50 words),
and the abstract title should contain at most 100 characters.
The open source project must be available for download on the web
so that one can try out a useable version.
Preliminary Abstract
Please send a preliminary abstract (as soon as possible) to
Brad Bell
so that he can add you to the list of speakers invited for this
session.
You must include your first name and last name
with your preliminary submission.
You may also include your
Position or title,
Employer or organization,
address,
phone number,
or
fax number.
Final Abstract
Once you have obtained an invitation, you can submit your final abstract.
The deadline for submitting your final abstract is May 15th.
