Swampwalking is the practice of humans when they travel unescorted
in non-enclave areas of KinterSylvania. The ubiquitous and extensive
insect species make it impossible for humans to walk in buzzer-occupied
lands without committing numerous acts of 'squishing,' the human
vernacular term for 'Homicide By Explosive Disembowelment.'

To avoid murder charges, and death by lethal injection(Administered by 
Scorpions, or their chromasomal cousins, Scorpion Bee Hybrids), humans
 are restricted to walk in swamp areas, in standing water where only 
'phemeral gnats live. 

'Phemeral gnats have a life span measured in seconds, so cause of death is 
impossible to prove, and living witnesses are not alive to be called.

The Queen and her sisters look the other way when 'phemerals are killed,
and don't bring the whole force of law to bear on humans when clearly,
some 'phemerals are 'squished,' even in swampwalking.
