| 1. How do I get statistical information about visits to my Web pages? |

Seanet uses a program called Analog to provider our customers' statistics about their Web pages. A recent survey showed that
Analog is used by webmasters more than any other logfile analysis program (among them the Boeing Corporation). You can access

| 2. What can these statistics tell me about visits to my Web pages? |
|
Web statistics are very informative, although there are a number of things they cannot tell you. It's important to remember,
however, that a report which states that a particular Web page has received 30,000 requests does not indicate that 30,000
people have read this page. What we can tell you with accuracy is the number of requests made to the server for your for Web
pages, when those requests were made, which files were accessed by visitors to your Web pages, and which hosts generated those
requests.

| 3. What statistics are reported? |
|
- The top two lines of the report tell you when the program was run and for which dates it is reporting data.
- The General Summary contains overall statistics about the data being analyzed. The most important pieces of information
in this section are: the number of requests (that is, the total number of files downloaded, including graphics), the number
of requests for pages (this counts only the requests for the pages themselves), the number of distinct hosts (that is,
that number of different computers the requests came from), and the amount of data transferred in bytes. The figures in
parentheses in the General Summary represent the days given at the top of the report.
- The Monthly, Weekly, Daily, Hourly, Quarter-Hour, and Five Minute Reports tell you how many requests there were in each
time period as well as indicating which was the busiest time period.
- The Domain Report lists the domains from which requests for your Web pages originated.
- The Host Report lists individual machines with at least 100 requests for your Web pages.
- The Directory Report lists which directories from which files were downloaded.
- The File Type Report lists the file types (or extensions) of the files which were downloaded.
- The File Size Report lists the sizes of the files requested.
- The Status Code Report lists the number of each HTTP status code that was returned.
- The Request Report lists the names of the files that were requested.

| 4. How far back do statistics go? |
|
The log files used to generate statistical reports are kept on the server for 12 months. Customers who prefer to maintain
records older than 12 months or would like to use alternate means to analyze them, are free to download log files before they
are removed from the server.
